Almabase brings together fundraising events, online giving, and donor communications, while seamlessly syncing all the data with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, helping foundation teams streamline operations and strengthen donor relationships.
The launch marks Almabase's expansion into healthcare after more than a decade of helping educational institutions strengthen fundraising and supporter engagement. The healthcare platform was developed in close collaboration with foundation teams to address the operational challenges of modern healthcare fundraising.
Healthcare foundations often manage donor engagement, sponsorships, fundraising events, and constituent data across multiple disconnected systems, leading to manual reconciliation, fragmented supporter records, and administrative work that limits fundraising capacity. Almabase brings these workflows together through three integrated products: Events, Giving, and Donor Communications, all while automatically syncing fundraising and engagement data with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT.
Among the platform's early customers is Essentia Health Foundation, which supports fundraising across 15 hospitals and more than 60 clinics serving communities throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Working alongside Essentia helped shape capabilities for sponsorship management, event operations, donor engagement, and CRM integration.
Since implementing Almabase, Essentia Health Foundation has streamlined sponsorship management through a dedicated self-service portal, eliminated weeks of follow-up, automatically synced event attendees to Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT as named constituent records, and raised more than $200,000 at its Essentially Yours Gala while managing 25+ sponsors across multiple tiers.
